Today, many young Canadian writers are looking for ways to share their stories, poetry, plays, and other creative works with the world. In order to help Canadian youth connect with a wider audience, we are proud to announce the creation of wordCave Magazine!

This magazine will feature a fresh format that showcases a wide array of talent from all over Canada. We plan to distribute wordCave Magazine in print format, and we will deliver the finished products to Canadian libraries, community centers, colleges, and not-for-profit organizations.

Our goal is to distribute 20,000 to 50,000 copies of each issue nationwide, and to get our magazine in bookstores and other retail outlets: as well, we will offer an electronic version on the Internet and through email. This two-prong effort will result in a wide readership that really exposes Canada’s up-and-coming talent with an excellent forum where they can display their gifts for many different types of people.

Our magazine will be an affordable way to enjoy the creativity of Canada’s diverse and multicultural artists. It will appeal to a wide demographic due to its inclusive nature and its devotion to diversity. Currently, we have wonderful consultants who represent Canada’s literary elite, and our advisors are standing by to help us shape the publication and its message.

We are excited about finding, grooming, and launching Canada’s up-and-coming writers. Our magazine will strive to find the most creative and compelling talent. We encourage young writers (or those who are young at heart!) to submit their works to us for possible inclusion in the publication. If you do submit, be sure to include a photo of yourself, and a brief bio that will be published along with your writing!
