If your finished manuscript, illustrations, photographs, and other content are edited and ready to be printed, then two months is the standard turnaround time.

How will I be able to check on the status of my book?

Do you also distribute books?
At wordCave, we concentrate on what we do best – we focus on providing our clients with the very best in self-publishing services: we do not distribute the books themselves. When your project is complete, you will receive the finished product and then be able to distribute it however you see fit.

Yes, we are happy to offer professional layout and design services to our valued clientele. You can be assured of an eye-catching, polished finished product when you publish with wordCave.

Do you offer proofreading and editing services?

Editing is a more involved process – an editor examines the book as a whole, looking for inconsistencies, problems with plot, character development, timelines, and a host of other issues. Editing sometimes involves rewriting or extensive changes to the first draft. wordCave does not provide editing services: we are here to help when your manuscript is edited and ready for print.

Do you offer typing services?
Yes, we offer typing services to our clients. If you need your manuscript typed from handwritten notes or even audiotapes, we can arrange this for you. In fact, our friendly staff can handle any typing that is needed to produce a finished manuscript.

Do you supply ISBN numbers and bar codes?
Yes, we do.

What types of payment do you accept?
Our preferred methods of payment are as follows: checks, bank transfers, and cash. Full payment in advance is required for all self-publishing services, unless you decide to opt for a monthly payment plan. If you do choose monthly payments, you can pay as little as $100.00 per month. Proper ID (photo ID) and a voided check, as well as a signed agreement between you and wordCave will be required in order to begin our monthly payment plan. In this case, monies will be withdrawn for your bank account each month, according a pre-arranged schedule.
